Read it out loud

My writing got a lot better once I started reading it out loud.

So simple and you probably do this, too.

When you read it out loud you notice which sentences are way too long. Which phrases feel unnecessary. Shoot, you may even catch typos that squiggly line didn’t catch.

Before I press send on that email, presentation deck or Slack message (okay, Teams for the time being), I read it out loud.
